The 12th WTO Ministerial Conference continued Today, 14 June 2022, with thematic discussions on the draft Agreement on Fisheries Subsidies.
Minister Todd also commented on transparency and notification requirements and de minimis provisions among other issues of concern to CARICOM.

The Honourable Hugh Hilton Todd, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation participated in the session in his capacity as CARICOM spokesperson on WTO matters and delivered comments.
Minister Todd noted that CARICOM appeals for decisive action to curb harmful fisheries subsidies published by Prime Ministers from the CARICOM Region in a commentary released yesterday.
