The ceremony was held at the Memorial Gates on Constitution Hill which was officially inaugurated by the late Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, on November 6, 2002, as a lasting memorial to the men and women from the Indian subcontinent, Africa, and the Caribbean who volunteered during the First and Second World Wars. This year’s ceremony was particularly significant as it paid a special focus on the service and sacrifices of the Windrush Generation. Minister Todd is attending the Commonwealth Foreign Affairs Ministers Meeting (CFAMM) in London and will also engage with several bilateral partners during the visit.
