His Excellency Dr Irfaan Ali today passionately described Guyana’s development pathway to potential investors in Dubai while highlighting the country’s natural beauty and its melting pot of diversity and culture.
“If you are looking for investment opportunities, Guyana is a place on which to be setting your sights.” President Ali said that Guyana needs investments to drive its transformative agenda and disclosed that his Government would work on facilitating more investor-friendly policies.
The Head of State made his address during the country’s National Day celebrations at Expo 2020 Dubai.
Today’s celebration, which got underway at 1:35h (9:35h Dubai time), also featured several cultural performances by local artistes who travelled for the event. Expo 2020 Dubai, which was delayed from last year, officially started on October 1 and is scheduled to run until March 31, 2022.
