New Ambassador of Spain presents Letter of Credence to President Ali



His Excellency Dr Irfaan Ali accepted the Letters of Credence from Non-Resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Spain to Guyana, Fernando Nogales Alvarez.

The simple ceremony was held today at the Office of the President on Shiv Chanderpaul Drive. President Ali was joined by Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Honourable Hugh Todd and Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mrs Elisabeth Harper.

Guyana and Spain established diplomatic relations on October 12, 1979.
