Minister Todd meets with SG of the OACPS



Minister Todd further reiterated Guyana’s continued support to the Organisation in the execution of its mandate and to the Secretary-General during his tenure.
During the engagement, Minister Todd and the Secretary-General alluded to the importance of South-South dialogue and cooperation. The Secretary-General also noted Guyana’s outstanding contributions to the work and success of the OACPS since its creation.
The Organisation of African, Caribbean, and Pacific States (OACPS), formerly known as the African, Caribbean, and Pacific (ACP) Group of States, is an organisation created by the Georgetown Agreement in 1975 and signed in Georgetown, Guyana.

The Honourable Hugh Hilton Todd, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, on July 5, 2022, met with His Excellency Georges Rebelo Pinto Chikoti, Secretary-General of the Organisation of African, Caribbean, and Pacific States (OACPS), on the sidelines of the CARICOM Heads of Government meeting which was held in Paramaribo, Suriname, July 3 to 5, 2022.
