Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the European Union (EU) to the Cooperative Republic of Guyana, His Excellency Fernando Ponz Cantó, today called on Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Honourable Hugh Todd, during which among mutual areas of interest, they discussed the enhancement of bilateral relations and cooperation.
Guyana-EU relations were established with the signing of the historic Georgetown Agreement in 1975.
