United States Ambassador to Guyana, HE Sarah-Ann Lynch accompanied the delegation. During his brief address, President Ali spoke about the importance of democracy, enhancing trade and ways of strengthening the overall relationship between the two countries. Prime Minister, Brigadier (Ret’d), the Honourable Mark Phillips; Vice President, the Honourable Dr. Bharrat Jagdeo; Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Honourable Hugh Todd; Minister of Amerindian Affairs, the Honourable Pauline Sukhai, Minister Of Public Works, the Honourable Juan Edghill and other Cabinet members were also present.
