The Honourable Hugh Hilton Todd, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, earlier today, received a courtesy call from Mr. Deodat Maharaj, Executive Director of Caribbean Export Development Agency (CEDA).
During the meeting several areas of proposed assistance were discussed, including investment promotion, export promotion and development and services, with particular emphasis on micro, small and medium enterprises.
The Caribbean Export Development Agency (Caribbean Export) is the only regional trade and investment promotion agency within the Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS) States, and was established in 1996 by an Inter-Governmental Agreement among the Forum of the Caribbean Group (CARIFORUM) of OACPS.
