Greece condemns the decision to annex territories of Ukraine, occupied by Russian military forces, (Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions) to the Russian Federation.
This decision is illegal, as it is a flagrant violation of International Law, and null.
Greece does not recognize it.
Greece continues to support, as a fundamental principle, Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as that of all states.
Greece will continue to work for justice to be done, as well as for the protection of the rights of the Greek community in Ukraine, which has suffered greatly in recent months.
