During their stay in Israel, the Minister of Foreign Affairs is usually scheduled to be received by Israeli President, Isaac Herzog and Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu. Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Dendias, will check out Israel tomorrow, Tuesday January 31, where he will hold a gathering with Israeli Minister associated with Foreign Affairs, Eli Cohen. During the Minister’s visit to Israel, talks are expected to focus on deepening Greek-Israeli cooperation in a wide range of areas, including energy, purchase and defence, as well as within trilateral formats. Furthermore, discussions are expected to cover international plus regional developments, including developments in the Middle East and the Far eastern Mediterranean. The two International Ministers will have a one-on-one meeting at approximately 2009: 00, which will be followed by extended talks. Both Ministers of Foreign Matters will then make joint claims, followed by a private working breakfast. It is noted that Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias’ visit to Israel is the 1st visit of a European International Minister to Israel, pursuing the swearing-in of the country’s brand new government on December 29, 2022.
