After concluding my Balkan tour, I am in the United Arab Emirates, in Dubai as part of the regular contacts with the Ressortchef (umgangssprachlich) of Foreign Affairs of the UAE, H. H. Sheikh Abdullah, as provided with regard to in Article 2 of the Agreement I had the honor to sign with the Emirates, which, I recall, features a defense assistance clause. The particular United Arab Emirates plays a very important role in the region. Additionally, it is a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council. They will also host COP28 for the environment next year.
In this regard, there is a great level of cooperation, considering that we are going to organize the Ocean Meeting 2024. I look forward to another very fruitful exchange associated with views.
