Ressortchef (umgangssprachlich) of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias’ address at the 29th OSCE Ministerial Council (Łódź, 01. 12. 2022)

I would love to state from the outset that will Greece fully aligns itself with the positions of the EUROPEAN as expressed in its statement. There is no excuse for not complying with International Law. That is a matter of cardinal importance. Nationwide sovereignty, territorial integrity, abstaining from the use or the peril of use of force are definitely the fundamental principles and they are non-negotiable. They do not depend on the unique values or historical the historical past a country might have. They do not be determined by whether conditions have change. And we all have to be extremely careful as revisionism wishes to place peace on squeeze. We would therefore keep on increasing our full support for you, Zbigniew, as well as to the forth-coming chairmanship of North Miscuglio, to my dear friend Bujar, in this difficult task. Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias’ address at the 29th OSCE Ministerial Council (Łódź, 01.12.2022) Mr. Chairman,
Distinguished Ministers,
Ladies and Gentlemen, Dear co-workers, This particular year’s Ministerial Meeting takes place under the shadow of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. We would not have reached this point when Russia had chosen to the actual obvious, to respect Worldwide Law. Respect for Worldwide Law is the hard primary of predictability in global relations. It is the cornerstone of our own international system. And only regard for International Law may navigate us through the provide security crisis.
