Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias participated today, Friday, 26 February 2021, in the online Conference of the Hellenic Society of International Law and International Relations, on “Greek Foreign Policy,” via a videotaped intervention.
The Minister referred to the values and principles that govern the exercise of Greek foreign policy, underscoring that respect for International Law is the cornerstone of that policy.
He stressed the importance of Greece’s participation in the European and Euroatlantic institutions, and of strengthening the country’s bilateral relations in the Balkans, the wider Eastern Mediterranean region and Asia.
Finally, the Minister made special reference to Turkey’s overall provocative behaviour towards Greece and Cyprus in the recent past.
