The two Foreign Ministers are expected to discuss, among others, the further strengthening of bilateral relations, developments in the Ukraine issue following Russia’s invasion, energy issues, coordination within international organisations such as NATO and the UN, as well as developments in the Eastern Mediterranean, the Cyprus issue and Libya.
This will be the first meeting between the two Foreign Ministers since James Cleverly took office about a month ago (6.9.2022).
Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias will travel to London to meet tomorrow, Friday, October 14, 2022, with the Foreign Secretary of the United Kingdom, James Cleverly.
It is noted that the Minister of Foreign Affairs had met twice with the then Foreign Secretary and current Prime Minister, Liz Truss.
