Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias’ statement to media following his meeting with the President of Gabon, Ali Bongo Ondimba (Libreville, thirteen. 01. 2023)

The Greek Government is pursuing the foreign policy that stretches beyond a narrow horizon. We believe that the Ancient greek presence in Africa need to exist and there are many points of common ground where we can develop both the political and economic relations with these countries.
I am concluding today, here in Libreville, the capital of Gabon, a tour of 3 West African countries, Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, and Gabon. All three countries are signatories to UNCLOS, the particular International Convention on the Legislation of the Sea, they have appealed to international jurisdiction for that implementation of UNCLOS, and in addition they have in place a system associated with protection of their fishing legal rights, which also concerns A holiday in greece. In addition to this, two of the 3, Ghana and Gabon, are non-permanent members of the UN Security Council. All three of these countries support the particular Greek candidacy for our election to the UN Security Council.
