Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias’ programme in the context of the National Holiday of 25 March and the celebrations of the bicentennial of the War of Independence

Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias will welcome His Royal Highness Prince Charles of Wales, who will be accompanied by his wife, the Duchess of Cornwall, at the airport today, 24 March. He will then participate in the special bicentennial event of the inauguration of the new building complex of the National Gallery and will attend the official dinner being hosted by the President of the Republic at the Presidential Mansion.

Tomorrow, on the National Holiday, the Minister will attend the military parade and then participate in the Prime Minister’s meeting with the Prince of Wales at the Prime Minister’s office.

Mr. Dendias will then attend the ceremony for conferring the Gold Medal of Honour of the City of Athens on the Prince of Wales, which will take place at the Athens City Hall. Following the ceremony, the Minister will meet briefly with the UK Under-Secretary of State, Minister for European Neighbourhood and the Americas, Ms Wendy Morton.  

Finally, Mr. Dendias will accompany the Prince of Wales and his wife to the airport, bidding them farewell on their departure from our country.
