Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Andreas Katsaniotis, received the Exarch of the Holy Sepulchre in Greece, Archimandrite Raphael, at his office today.During the meeting, which was held in a cordial atmosphere, the Deputy Minister reiterated the Greek government’s support for the Jerusalem Patriarchate and Patriarch Theophilos III, emphasizing our country’s strong interest in safeguarding the presence and rights of the Greek-Orthodox Patriarchate. The two sides discussed issues regarding the Exarchate of the Holy Sepulchre in Greece, as well as the delivery of the Holy Fire from Jerusalem to Greece on Holy Saturday this year.
