OFFICIALS OF HUAWEI GHANA CALL ON FOREIGN MINISTER

A delegation from Huawei Ghana led by the Managing Director, Mr. Tommy Liang paid a courtesy call on the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Honourable Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey, on Wednesday 6th July, 2022. The meeting provided a platform for Mr. Liang and his team to discuss areas of cooperation with the Ministry.
During the meeting, the Hon. Minister recalled some of the areas of collaboration between the Ministry and Huawei over the years and highlighted Government’s desire to see more girls and women take up courses and careers in the field of Information and Communication Technology. She also indicated the Ministry’s willingness to provide guidance in future areas of collaboration.
