On her part, Hon. Ayorkor Botchwey commended Dr . Sicha’s efforts to help deepen the particular relations between Ghana and Thailand through rice manufacturing. She further congratulated the Jospong Group and its Chief, Dr . Joseph Siaw Agyepong for taking the initiative in the direction of ensuring that the President’s demand increased rice production in the nation is realised to reduce grain importation and create jobs for your Ghanaian youth.
During the meeting, Dr . Sicha Singsomboon stated that her visit to Ghana was to further deepen the longstanding cordial diplomatic connections between Ghana and Thailand. She indicated Thailand’s readiness to contribute to rice production in Ghana by moving its farming technology and expertise to rice farmers in Ghana.
