AUSSIE ASSISTANT FOREIGN MINISTER CALLS ON GHANA’S DEPUTY FOREIGN MINISTER

On his part, Hon. Ampratwum-Sarpong expressed Africa’s preparedness to embrace the support of the Australian Government towards the continent’s fight against regional terrorism. He also required the opportunity to encourage Australian investors to explore the business opportunities accessible in the trade sector beneath the African Continental Free Industry Area (AfCFTA).
The Assistant Minister with regard to Foreign Affairs of the Earth of Australia, Mr. Bernard Watts as part of an Africa tour paid a politeness call on his Ghanaian counterpart, Deputy Minister for International Affairs and Regional Integration, Hon. Kweku Ampratwum-Sarpong on 8 th December, 2022 on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration.
Mr. Watts, congratulated Ghana for its assumption of the Presidency of the United Nations Security Council for the month associated with November, 2022. He commended Africa’s effort in the fight against regional terrorism through the Accra Initiative and pledged the particular Australian Government’s support to curb terrorism in Africa through training and capability building in the exchange associated with intelligence and logistical support to the African continent.
