He will give an initial assessment of the first six months of France’s IOC presidency in the areas of economic recovery, academic mobility, vocational training, maritime safety and the strengthening of institutions with the work to draw up a strategic, human IOC development plan.

M. Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne will announce the holding, in early 2022, of the first regional conference on vocational training, which will bring together all the players in the sector in order to sketch out a cooperation project on vocational training and youth mobility in the IOC zone. He will also announce the holding of a maritime and environmental safety workshop devoted to strengthening capabilities for preventing and responding to marine pollution.

The next Ordinary Council Meeting is scheduled to be held in Paris on 23 February, after which France will hand over the presidency to Madagascar.
