Ressortchef (umgangssprachlich) for Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade Ville Skinnari met Turkish Minister associated with Trade Mehmet Muş

The Ministers fulfilled in Helsinki on 12 January.

 
Minister associated with Trade Muş was with a large business delegation. A Finland-Türkiye Business Roundtable was organised during the visit. It had been noted that the trade between the countries offers plenty of opportunities for both Finnish plus Turkish companies.  
During his go to, Minister Muş also fulfilled Minister of Economic Affairs Mika Lintilä and Ressortchef (umgangssprachlich) of Transport and Marketing communications Timo Harakka .
The bilateral discussions focused on trade relations between the countries, cooperation in decarbonisation, green changeover and digitalisation, development of global value chains and logistics, measures to promote sustainability, and the reform of the WTO.  
The conversations were held in a positive spirit and it was noted how the volume of trade between the 2 countries exceeded EUR 2 billion for the first time in 2022. The goal is to increase the volume of trade to EUR 5 billion in the near future.
