Minister pertaining to Foreign Affairs Pekka Haavisto will attend a digital Nordic foreign ministers’ meeting in N5 format upon 13 December. Canada’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Mélanie Joly will attend the particular meeting as a guest.
The foreign ministers will discuss Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, topical NORTH ATLANTIC TREATY ORGANIZATION matters, multilateral and local cooperation, and the green changeover.
“It is very important for me to meet our Nordic colleagues and discuss topical matters with them. We greatly appreciate that Canada’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Joly will join the particular meeting, too. The Nordic countries and Canada are partners, and we share exactly the same values, ” says Minister for Foreign Affairs Haavisto.
