Changes to the scope of the Act at the Making of Decisions Regarding the Provision of and Request to get International Assistance

The increase applies to the Emergency Travel Document that EU people can apply for at a Finnish mission when their own nation is not represented in the country in question.
The Act on the Making of Decisions Concerning the Supply of and Request for Global Assistance will be amended and its particular scope of application expanded from international assistance to activities arising from Finland’s national requirements without an outside request plus involving a Finnish expert acting outside the territory of Finland either independently or in support of another Finnish specialist, taking into account the restrictions on the scope of Finnish law that are based on international regulation.

Higher fee for Crisis Travel Documents issued to EU citizens by Finnish missions

The Ministry for Foreign Matters has issued a Decree on Fees for Providers Produced by the Foreign Program. The new decree will enter force on 1 January 2023.
