Fijian diplomat receives special prize and graduates with distinction at the Australian War College

Fijian diplomat and Counsellor at the High Fee of the Republic of Fiji in Canberra, Australia Microsoft. Salote Tagivakatini recently graduated with Distinction from Deakin University with a Master associated with Defence and Strategic Studies, she was admitted being a Fellow of the Australian War College and also awarded The Commander Australian Defence University Award and Geddes Gavel. Fiji’s representatives on the DSSC 2022 were Republic of Fiji Military Factors (RFMF) Commander Saula Tuilevuka and Ms. Salote Tagivakatini. He said, “It was obviously a very proud moment for any Fijian in the auditorium and a special one for me as High Commissioner to see our RFMF officers and my Deputy, Ms. Tagivakatini represented Fiji superbly and made Fiji proud via their outstanding achievements. I actually thank them and especially their own families here with us and in Fiji for all the sacrifice and effort. Our Vuvale partnership and particularly our Defence relations continues to mature and strengthen and Australia and Fiji possess a bright future. ” Highlighting on her journey through this particular achievement Counsellor Tagivakatini thanked God for HIS benefits and acknowledged the Prime Minister and the Minister for Foreign Affairs Honorable Josaia Bainimarama and Honorable Minister meant for Defence Inia Seruiratu, for your confidence bestowed upon her to represent the municipal service and Fijian individuals at the prestigious Australian War College. “The opportunity to learn, build people to people links plus relationships and contribute to higher awareness of our unique culture, perspectives, vulnerabilities and strengths was a phenomenal experience along with a huge blessing. We have much to learn and share. ” Fiji’s High Commissioner to Australia His Excellency Mr. David Kolitagane represented Fiji at the combined graduation ceremony for the Aussie Staff and Command University and the DSSC. “The hospitality of the Australian Key of the Defence Force, General Angus Campbell and Secretary Defence Greg Moriarty, Aussie Course members and the War College was exceptional plus demonstrates the sincerity, depth and remarkable gains in our defence diplomacy and romantic relationships. Our foreign services may learn a lot from our protection counterparts. Counselor Tagivakatini extended her appreciation to the Long term Secretary Mr. Yogesh Karan and Deputy Secretary Mister. Esala Nayasi and colleagues at MFA and her family for their support. The award is a first for Fiji and it is awarded to the best International student who contributed plus demonstrated the greatest understanding of politics, diplomatic, military, cultural plus economic factors that impact regional relationships and decision making.
