The State Councilor and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, His Excellency Wang Yi, arrived in Fiji this afternoon for an official visit from Saturday 28 May 2022 to Tuesday 31 May 2022. This will be State Councilor Wang’s second visit to Fiji, the first was in 2018.
During his visit to Fiji, State Councilor Wang will pay a courtesy call on the President of the Republic of Fiji, His Excellency Ratu Wiliame Maivalili Katonivere, and meet the Prime Minister Josaia Voreqe Bainimarama.
The Prime Minister will join State Councilor Wang for the 2nd China-Pacific Island Countries Foreign Ministers’ Meeting.
