This conference will address the challenge of providing assistance to victims of major crises such as acts of terrorism, mass accidents or environmental disasters, from a European and international perspective.
Should all victims of major crises be granted the same rights as victims of terrorism? How can existing victim support networks be strengthened and how can synergy be built between them? How can the operational efficiency of European and international cooperation instruments be improved?
The conference will respond to these questions through discussions between professionals and will give a voice to victims who will speak about their experiences.
