Havana, June 8, 2021 .- The Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Anayansi RodrÃguez Camejo, and the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Greece, Themistocles Demiris, held a virtual meeting, this Tuesday, in which they reviewed the current state of bilateral relations and exchanged on international and regional issues of mutual interest.
During the meeting, both diplomats agreed on the need to continue stimulating the development of ties in the political, economic and cultural spheres, as well as acknowledging the sentiments of friendship and solidarity between the two peoples.
The Cuban Vice Minister took the opportunity to express her gratitude for the support of the Hellenic Republic to the resolution presented by Cuba in the United Nations General Assembly against the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States of America.
Both parties expressed satisfaction with the fluid exchange and existing cooperation in the multilateral arena.
