Victoria, October 13 – The close friendship between Cuba and China was ratified today at the headquarters of the Chinese Embassy in Seychelles, during a friendly meeting between the respective ambassadors accredited in Victoria, Martha Hernandez and Guo Wei.
The occasion was propitious to evoke the history shared by our peoples for more than six decades, which constitutes a pillar for the development of the strong bilateral ties.
Both diplomats underlined the coincidence of our principles based on equality, solidarity, cooperation and mutual political trust.
Cuba and China have further strengthened their bilateral relationship in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic. The Asian giant has sent medical supplies to our country and experts from both countries have shared scientific research on the disease.
