Kampala. The Cuban Ambassador Tania Perez Xiques paid a courtesy call on Mrs. Elin Østebø Johansen, Ambassador of Norway in Uganda.
The Norwegian diplomat conveyed her satisfaction at having a woman as ambassador of Cuba, and highlighted the increase in the number of heads of mission within the accredited diplomatic corps in Uganda, at the same time that she transferred her work experiences in Kampala and Kigali.
On her part, the Cuban ambassador explained the current state of the confrontation with COVID-19 in Cuba, as well as the achievements and challenges of the Caribbean nation in the positioning of women.
