Roseau, february 22, 2021. A fruitful meeting was held this afternoon by the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba in the Commonwealth of Dominica, Ulises Arranz Fernández, with the Minister of Health, Wellness and New Health Investment, Dr. Irving McIntyre, at the Embassy headquarters. The Permanent Secretary of that Ministry, Letitia Lestrade, the Consul of Cuba Miriam Martín Posada and the Head of the Permanent Brigade of Health Collaborators, Dr. Isolina López Cardoso, also participated in the meeting.
During the meeting, a group of topics related to collaboration in health matters by Cuba was reviewed, especially the future signing of a new Agreement in this field. Both parties agreed that there are conditions to continue deepening relations in the field of health, in the year that marks the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between both countries.
The meeting took place in an atmosphere of cordiality and fraternity such as that which characterizes the excellent relations between Cuba and Dominica.
