Ambassador of Cuba in Mongolia met with Advisor to the President for Urban and Rural Development Policy and Counselor of Monpharm firm

The Cuban ambassador to Mongolia, Jorge Ferrer, met with Mr. Buyannemekh Orgoi, advisor to the President for Urban and Rural Development Policy and former director of Monpharm.

Also in attendance was Ms. Orlom Basanjav, Head of Monpharm’s Medicines Department.

Both parties discussed the progress of the use of the Cuban homeopathic medicine Vidatox, registered in Mongolia by the Monpharm firm. This drug is used to treat cancer and other diseases that cause pain and inflammation.

Vidatox has proven analgesic, anti-inflammatory and detoxifying effects, without causing serious adverse reactions. It reduces the spread of diseased cells and prolongs the patient’s life expectancy according to clinical studies conducted with nearly 10,000 patients in Europe, Cuba and the United States.

They also talked about new medicines and vaccines from Cuban biotechnology, against Covid-19, Alzheimer’s, cancer, pneumococci, rheumatoid arthritis, etc. that are already registered or in the final phase.

Furthermore, they dialogued about agriculture and livestock and some of the main pests and diseases that affect them. They also exchanged views on the opportunities for bilateral cooperation in these areas, including the possibility of sharing Cuban technology.

The Ambassador shared information about the upcoming international biotechnology and health conferences and fairs that will take place in Cuba this year. Among these are BioHabana 2022 in April, as well as the International Convention Cuba-Salud 2022 and the International Fair “Salud para todos” in October.
