Building on the success of the Team Canada Trade Mission to Japan in fall 2023, the Honourable Mary Ng, Minister of Export Promotion, International Trade and Economic Development, announced that she will lead Team Canada trade missions to Malaysia and Vietnam from March 24 to 29 and to South Korea from April 21 to 25, 2024. During the trade missions, Canadian companies will have the opportunity to learn about opportunities in key sectors, such as: As a flagship deliverable of Canada’s Indo-Pacific Strategy, Team Canada trade missions create new opportunities for Canadian companies of all sizes to grow across that region while strengthening Canada’s resilience in global supply chains. Team Canada welcomes participation from provinces and territories, municipalities, other government departments, trade portfolio partners, chambers of commerce, and trade and industry associations to truly demonstrate a “whole of Canada” approach.
