Parliamentary Secretary Sidhu to travel to Jamaica

November 8, 2022 РOttawa, Ontario РGlobal Affairs Canada During his visit, Parliamentary Secretary Sidhu will engage with government officials, including Foreign Minister of Jamaica Kamina Johnson Smith, civil society representatives and business leaders to discuss regional priorities, including the situation in Haiti, democracy and good governance, gender equality, as well as recovery and growth in a post-COVID-19 world. The Honourable M̩lanie Joly, Minister of Foreign Affairs, announced today that Maninder Sidhu, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, will travel to Jamaica from November 9 to 11, 2022. Parliamentary Secretary Sidhu will also engage with Canada Fund for Local Initiatives recipients and beneficiaries, who work on projects supporting women farmers, women entrepreneurs, the LGBTQ2+ community and survivors of gender-based violence.
