The ministers agreed to work together to strengthen Ukraine’s economic resilience by identifying additional support that Canada and other G7 members can provide to help new businesses, particularly small businesses, to develop and deliver much needed jobs.   Minister Ng reiterated Canada’s unwavering support for Ukraine as it secures its future as a stable, democratic and prosperous country. She reinforced Canada’s commitment to continue working closely with G7 partners to hold Russia to account for the global security and humanitarian crisis caused by Russian President Vladimir Putin’s unprovoked and unjustifiable invasion of Ukraine and associated campaign of disinformation.
