Mr. Potter replaces Sylvie Bédard. Marie-Geneviève Mounier becomes Ambassador to the Republic of Senegal. Ms. Mounier replaces Sébastien Beaulieu. The Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Foreign Matters, today announced the following diplomatic appointments: Daniel Ahmad becomes Ambassador to the Republic of Este Salvador. Mr. Ahmad supercedes Karolina Guay. Eva Yu becomes Consul General within Chongqing (People’s Republic of China). Ms. Yu eliminates Jeff David.   Stefanie McCollum will become Ambassador to the Lebanese Republic. Ms. McCollum replaces Chantal Chastenay. Tarik Ali Khan becomes Ambassador to the Hashemite Kingdom associated with Jordan. Mr. Khan eliminates Donica Pottie. Ambra Dickie becomes High Commissioner within Brunei Darussalam. Ms. Dickie replaces Jeanette Stovel. Nadia Theodore becomes Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the World Trade Organization, within Geneva. Ms. Theodore replaces Stephen de Boer. Emmanuel Kamarianakis becomes Ambassador to the Federative Republic of Brazil. Mr. Kamarianakis replaces Jennifer May. August four, 2022 – Ottawa, Ontario – Global Affairs Europe Brian Szwarc becomes Ambassador to the Republic of Latvia. Mr. Szwarc replaces Kevin Rex.
