H.E. Mr. Ariunbold Yadmaa, Ambassador of Mongolia to Canada, met with Mr. Sven List, Senior Vice-President, Trade Connections, Mr. George Monize, Vice-President, Global Business Development, and Ms. Ashley Glen, Director of Extractive Industries, Structured & Project Finance of Export Development Canada on September 15, 2022. During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on expanding economic cooperation between Mongolia and Canada, increasing Canadian investment, and providing support and protection to Canadian investors.Ambassador Ariunbold presented Mongolia’s current economic outlook and introduced policies and measures the Government is implementing to promote foreign investment. Export Development Canada emphasized the importance of creating a stable investment climate, building investors’ confidence, and promoting the Oyu Tolgoi project as a good example in order to attract investors.
