The Representative of Burundian Diaspora is satisfied with the Diaspora’s participation in the Diaspora week

On September 7, 2022, the Representative of the Burundian Diaspora, Mr. Eric NIRAGIRA, in a statement made public greatly thanked all Burundians living abroad for having participated in the Diaspora week, edition 2022, in the activities that took place in Ngozi province from July 26 to 29, 2022.
He also thanked all those who participated in the general assembly held on July 25, 2022, in which the representatives of the Diaspora from different countries adopted a new statute governing the Burundian Diaspora since that day and voted a project to achieve in the future.
In the same statement, he went on saying that until the Government of Burundi publicly admits the work of the Burundian Diaspora in Burundi, through the Ministry of Home Affairs, Community Development and Public Security, the Representative of the Burundian Diaspora asked all members of the Burundian Diaspora living abroad to continue to implement their projects as usual, until the new rules are available.
