The Embassy of Burundi in Paris celebrates the 60th anniversary of the independence of Burundi

In order to acquire economic independence, the current President of the Republic of Burundi, His Excellency Mr. Evariste Ndayishimiye, sensitizes all Burundians to work hard in order to increase production in all sectors, said Mr. Ernest Niyokindi. It should be noted that the guests at this party were, among others, the retired Burundian teacher Mr. Augustin NKUNDABASHAKA, the Tanzanian-Burundian entrepreneur Mrs. Agnès GRACE, as well as members of the Burundian Diaspora living in France.
His Excellency Ernest NIYOKINDI recalled that the Hero of the independence of Burundi is the late Prince Louis Rwagasore. He also recalled that Burundi needs economic independence to complement its political independence.
In his speech, the Ambassador of Burundi in Paris, His Excellency Mr. Ernest NIYOKINDI expressed his satisfaction that now Burundi is an independent and sovereign State since July 1, 1962.
On July 1, 2022, Burundi commemorated the 60th anniversary of its independence. In this context, the Embassy of Burundi in Paris did not fail to celebrate this party.
