Burundi plays against Cameroon

On Friday, June 10, 2022, the players of the national team of Burundi, INTAMBA MU RUGAMBA, accompanied by the President of the Football Federation of Burundi (FFB), Mr. MUYENGE Alexandre, arrived safely at Benjamin Mkapa stadium in Dar Es Salam, in the United Republic of Tanzania, for a 2nd match which was planned for them against the national team of Cameroon (INDOMPTABLE LIONS) for the CAN (African Cup of Nations).
Many Burundian supporters, including several members of the Burundian Diaspora were present. Burundi lost with a score of 1-0, but it was very difficult for Samuel Eto’o’s team to win this match because the Burundi national team players had played well.
The official trainer of the Burundian national team, Mr. Jimmy NDAYIZEYE, hopes that his players will do better in the return matches and qualify for CAN 2023.
