In the conclusions of the High Level Meeting of the Regional Monitoring Mechanism held in Kinshasa in february 24, 2022, the Heads of State and Government thanked His Excellency Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, President of the Republic of Uganda, for his leadership and the effective action he led at the head of the Regional Monitoring Mechanism from october 2018 to 2022.
The Heads of State and Government welcomed the generous offer of Burundi to host the Eleventh High Level Meeting of the Regional Oversight Mechanism in Bujumbura in 2023 and encourage other signatory countries to consider hosting the meetings following.
The Heads of State and Government finally thanked His Excellency Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, President of the Democratic Republic of Congo, for having organized the tenth high-level meeting of the Regional Monitoring Mechanism, and thank all those who contributed to its success.
Note that this meeting is held in principle every year and is hosted according to a proposal by State and then the Heads of State proceed to the validation.
