Before the screening the Consul General Mr. Angel Angelov welcomed the guests and presented to them the particular upcoming cultural events managed by the Consulate General.
The documentary had been presented by Mr. Sevar Ivanov, executive producer and actor. The screening occured in front of a large audience, including representatives of the Bulgarian neighborhood and many American guests. Following the screening there was an informal debate over a glass of wines.
On January 24, 2023 the Bulgarian Consulate General in New York managed the screening of the full-length documentary “105 Minutes Sofia – the History of the City”. The film follows the particular historic stages that the Bulgarian capital went through to get to the present look – from the first artefacts discovered near Sofia dated 6000 BC till nowadays.
