Minister Bayramov congratulated Ambassador Stoyanov on his appointment and wished him а lot of success in his work. The minister expressed his satisfaction with the intensity of the bilateral political dialogue between Bulgaria and Azerbaijan and the dynamic development of the relations in the fields of economy, energy, culture and sports.
Ambassador Stoyanov expressed gratitude for the warm words and the next day reception, which testifies to the friendly relations between Bulgaria and Azerbaijan. He underlined that Azerbaijan is considered an important strategic partner of Bulgaria and that the two countries have a long-standing cooperation both bilaterally and multilaterally. Ambassador Stoyanov expressed his intentions to work actively for the further expansion and deepening of the relations in all spheres of mutual interest.
On February 22, 2023, the newly appointed ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Republic of Azerbaijan, Rouslan Stoyanov, presented a copy of his credentials to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov.
