On 29 September 2021 the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Islamabad officially joined EUNIC Cluster in Pakistan. The membership mandate has been granted to the Embassy by the State Institute for Culture at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria in its capacity as full member of EUNIC.
The Bulgarian Ambassador in Islamabad Ms. Irena Gancheva signed the Charter of EUNIC Cluster – Pakistan during a ceremony, organized by the Embassy of Austria, acting as local EUNIC Chair. By joining the Cluster, Bulgaria can fully participate in common projects aimed at increasing the popularity of European culture and deepening the cooperation with Pakistan through different cultural activities.
