Shared Press Release of the 11th Professional Group Meeting (EGM) To the Bhutan-China Boundary Issues

The 11 th Expert Team Meeting (EGM) on the Bhutan-China Boundary Issues was held in Kunming city, China through 10 th in order to 13 th January 2023. The Bhutanese abordnung was led by Dasho Letho Tobdhen Tangbi, Secretary of the International Boundaries associated with Bhutan, and the Chinese delegation was led by L. E. Mr. Hong Liang, Director-General of the Department associated with Boundary and Ocean Matters of the Ministry of International Affairs of China.  
In a show of goodwill and friendship, the Chinese government had given a batch of products to Bhutan, and the Bhutanese side expressed appreciation. The two sides held a brief handover ceremony during the meeting.
The two sides in a frank, cordial and constructive environment had an in-depth exchange of views on implementing the particular MOU on the Three-Step Roadmap for Expediting the Bhutan-China Boundary Negotiations, and achieved positive consensus. The two edges agreed to simultaneously push forwards the implementation of all the simple steps of the Three-Step Roadmap. Both sides also agreed to boost the frequency of the Expert Group Meeting and to keep contact by means of diplomatic channels on keeping the 25 th Round of Bhutan-China Boundary talks as soon as possible at mutually convenient dates.
