The Minister of Foreign Affairs receives the Special Envoy for Climate Affairs and CEO of the Supreme Council for Environment
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, today received in his office at the Ministry’s General Court, the Special Envoy for Climate Affairs and CEO of the Supreme Council for Environment, Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Bin Daina.
During the meeting, the Minister welcomed Dr. Bin Daina and reiterated his sincere congratulations for the royal trust of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa who appointed him as a special envoy for climate affairs in reflection of high appreciation of his efforts in developing the environmental sector.
He expressed his happiness over the great efforts made by the Supreme Council for Environment, headed by His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, in developing policies and strategies to preserve the environment in the Kingdom of Bahrain and increase community awareness of the importance of protecting the environment from all dangers and to support the Kingdom’s continuous development process in various fields, wishing him continued success.
For his part, Dr. Bin Daina expressed his pride and appreciation for having met Dr. Zayani and stressed keenness to strengthen bilateral cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to achieve the desired goals and raise the reputation of the Kingdom of Bahrain at various international forums.
Areas of cooperation and joint coordination in all areas to enhance the efforts of the Kingdom of Bahrain to preserve the environment, in addition to the Kingdom’s participation in environmental forums and conferences were also discussed.
