Minister of Foreign Affairs receives Executive Director of International Institute for Strategic Studies in Middle East
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, received at the Ministry’s General Court today, the Executive Director of the International Institute for Strategic Studies in the Middle East (IISS), Sir Tom Beckett.
The two sides discussed joint cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the International Institute for Strategic Studies in the field of organizing conferences and forums, including the Manama Dialogue Conference, which the Ministry organizes annually in cooperation with the Institute.
The Minister praised the outstanding efforts of IISS, and affirmed the Ministry’s keenness to continue cooperation with the institute for the benefit of both sides. He also wished Sir Tom Beckett continued success.
For his part, Sir Tom Beckett expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the Minister of Foreign Affairs for the continuous support the Institute receives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, wishing the Kingdom further progress and prosperity.
