Kingdom of Bahrain is closely following development of events in Afghanistan
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that the Kingdom of Bahrain is closely following the development of events in Afghanistan, expressing its hope that all parties will commit to stabilising the internal situation and to protecting the lives of civilians and the rule of law.
The Ministry stated that the Kingdom of Bahrain, based on its moral obligations, contributes along with global partners by supporting humanitarian relief efforts in Afghanistan, and has agreed to participate in evacuation efforts by facilitating the transfer of evacuees from Afghanistan on their way to third countries.
The Ministry affirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain is a committed partner within the international community, and places great importance on human solidarity.
