Foreign Minister receives phone call from U.S. Secretary of State
Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, received a phone call today from the United States Secretary of State, H.E Mr. Antony Blinken.
During the call, the US Secretary of State expressed the US government’s thanks and gratitude for Kingdom of Bahrain’s support for relief efforts and evacuations from Afghanistan, lauding the strong friendship and strategic partnership between the two friendly countries.
The two sides also reviewed the course of bilateral cooperation and ways to promote friendly relations and further develop them, in addition to discussing the situation in the region and the efforts being made to maintain regional peace and security, and to support humanitarian relief efforts in Afghanistan.
