Foreign Minister receives Chairman and members of Committee on Archiving Ministry of Foreign Affairs Decisions

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, received today at the Ministry’s General Court, the Chairman of the Committee on Archiving the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Decisions, Ambassador Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulrahman bin Rashid Al Khalifa, as well as members of the committee.

Ambassador Shaikh Rashid did a presentation of the efforts made by the committee in inventorying, classifying and documenting the decisions, procedures and instructions issued at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He also presented to the Minister a description of the mechanism that the committee followed in monitoring and documenting all decisions and archiving them in a central record whose electronic system was developed in cooperation with the Information Systems Directorate of the Ministry.

The Foreign Minister extended his thanks and appreciation to the Chairman of the Committee and its members, praising the efforts made by the Committee to inventory, document and archive all decisions issued in the Ministry, stressing the importance of documenting the process of diplomatic and administrative work in the Ministry in order to follow up on promoting the level of performance at work, wishing the Chairman and members of the Committee further success.

For his part, Ambassador Shaikh Rashid expressed his sincere pride and appreciation for the support he and the members of the committee received from the Foreign Minister to accomplish this important administrative task, hailing the desired goals, which were entrusted to the committee with the aim to developing the performance of the Ministry, noting the interest and dedication shown by the committee members in accomplishing their mission.
